Common questions

Do I need an account?
No. Knowstead has no sign-up. Your progress stays on your iPhone.

What is free?
Every lesson video is free, and so are the full guides of some lessons. A subscription unlocks the full guides of every lesson: the audio guide, the checklist and the quiz.

How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Knowstead → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

I bought a subscription, but lessons are still locked.
Open any locked lesson to see the plans, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.

How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Can I trust the advice?
Every lesson lists its sources. The lessons teach general know-how. For your animals' health, food safety or building work, ask a local professional when you are unsure.
